Shareholders get ready to have their documents securely shredded

We sponsored a shredding event on Tuesday, December 13 that went like clockwork. Everyone had chairs to sit on, water donated by Ralph’s, and great weather too! The next shredding will be this spring. If you are a Golden Age member, you will receive advance notice of shredding dates and other events.

Donor Wall Project Underway!

We are offering the opportunity for shareholders and others interested in leaving a legacy at LW to purchase a walkway brick or wall tile. The project is on the south wall of the LW amphitheater between the Health Care Center and the Administration Building. 4 x 8 inch bricks will be used to line a beautiful walkway in the area. Bricks are priced at $125¬†each, including an engraved “mini-brick” that the purchaser can take home. 3 sizes of wall tiles will be mounted on the amphitheater wall. Pricing is as follows: 4 x 8 inch tile ¬†= $150; 6 x 6 inch tiles = $225; 8 x 8 inch tile = $375. Each brick and tile is personally engraved.

This is a great opportunity for individuals, clubs, and organizations to leave their mark (literally) at Leisure World. There are only a limited number of bricks and tiles available. Proceeds from this project will be given to the Golden Rain Foundation to help fund a beautiful new picnic area near Clubhouse 2.

Sales hours for the next 2 weeks are: December 9, 14, 15, 19, 22, and 23. Order at Hospitality from 9 A.M to 11 A.M. on each of these days or at the Mobility Aids office (located behind the table tennis area) from 12:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Order forms are available each weekday from 9 A.M to 11 A.M. at the Hospitality Center. We ask that you do not put your form in the Golden Age mailbox in Hospitality, because we would like to meet with you personally and make sure your order is correct. Sales are by cash or check made out to the Golden Age Foundation. All sales are tax deductible and you will receive your tax receipt when you order.
