The Golden Age Foundation received 2 generous contributions at the May 24 Board meeting. Officers of the Y’s Service Club and the Korean American Club are pictured here presenting a facsimile of their contribution check. Contributions from groups such as these are a vital part of helping the Foundation fund it’s programs for Leisure World shareholders.

Volunteer Luncheon Scheduled for June 22

A luncheon to thank our many volunteers for their contributions will be held on Wednesday, June 22 in Clubhouse 2, starting at 11:30 A.M. Volunteers and special guests will receive invitations from program chairs. The theme of this year’s luncheon is “A Mexican Fiesta.” Mexican food will be catered by Koeffel’s Food Service. The Hui o’ Hula dancers will perform a special Mexican themed program for everyone’s enjoyment. The event is chaired by Board member Rosa Carrillo. The event is being generously underwritten by On-Site Sales and by Superwire. We hope as many volunteers as possible will be able to help us celebrate!
