Seena Friedland will be 100 on August 25, 2022 and a resident of Leisure
World for over 22 years.

A little about her amazing life:
Seena was born in Washington Heights, New York and watched the George
Washington Bridge being built in 1927. She settled in Long Beach at 15
years old and after several years married in 1947, after her future husband
was smitten when he saw her at work in Los Angeles. She’s been a widow for
44 years never having had children and living alone with minimal help.
Seena worked for 35 years as the Administrator for Long Beach Temple Beth
Shalom and retired at 78 years old.
Seena does not wear glasses, never been in a hospital except to visit
others, has all her original teeth, reads the daily Long Beach Press
Telegram and works the crossword puzzle everyday. She prides herself on her
regular manicures and pedicures.
Seena has 24 nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great grand nieces
and nephews and one great great grand nephew. some in Leisure World and
others in the area.
The way we all see it is she will have more wonderful happy and healthy
years here.
